NeverClan is the Clan that serves the Higher Cats; and they have been rewarded well for their willing loyalty. Many of them know Higher Cat fighting techniques; their skills at fighting are, for the most part, unmatched throughout the Clans. When they go to battle, the strike swiftly, and hard enough that their victims' revenge need not be feared. They are ruthless and cunning, and have real hatred of the other Clans and their refusal to submit to the Higher Cats and respect them as they respected StarClan. Just saying the name 'StarClan' without a sneer will get a cat spat on for months in this Clan.
This Clan are fierce fighters who don't respect anybody else's borders and defend their own with their life. They see other Clans as lesser; the other Clans, after all, are merely rebellious subjects of the Higher Cats, whereas NeverClan are the Higher Cats' friends. Or so they like to think.
There are no elders in this pack, and queens return to duties as soon as their kits are a moon old. Kits are apprenticed at three moons, though NeverClan prefers their kits to grow up to be warriors and fight for their Clan, so takes the apprentices easy until they are six moons old.

NAMES AND CEREMONIES

Cats in this Clan are almost exclusively given names meant to symbolize their courage, ferocity and loyalty to the Higher Cats. The leader takes the name '-shadow'. In ceremonies, where in times gone by leaders would call upon the powers of StarClan, the NeverClan leader will call upon the dark glory of the Higher Cats.
