Gladia has light green eyes and dark grey fur streaked with gold. She is small and lithe, unusually elegant for a Timekeeper, and even quite pretty. She is long-legged and her fur is quite short and smooth. She has two white paws (front left and hind right). Her voice is a little high-pitched, and she walks with a casual grace.

Gladia is a lost little girl at heart, always wondering. She's a bit of a philosopher; she wants to know what the world is, why it is there, what she lives for. Often quiet and thoughtful, she's not lacking a loud side; when she switches on to the world around her, she's fun-loving, full of laughter, and friendly. It's much more rare that anyone sees her defiant side; she can be stubborn and brave too, but only when she's really moved to it.
Most of the time, she's something of the dizzy blonde. Her response to most questions is either 'Huh?' or 'What?'. Her thoughts travel a higher plane of existential questions and ethical debates, she can't cope with things like fetching water or hunting. One can send her off to fetch water for some offs and she'll return, having thoroughly explored a couple of side-tunnels she hadn't noticed before, asking what it is she was supposed to do again.
Gladia loves time-travelling and is innately curious. She loves to find out new things and babble on about stuff she's interested in. In some ways she's smart, then, but anybody who begins to appreciate her intelligence usually has their mind changed when she forgets the difference between a mouse and a rabbit.

Gladia is extremely sure footed and agile. She moves gracefully and rarely trips or falls, navigating rough ground or steep tunnels with ease. She can be quite a good fighter if you get her angry - the hidden steel emerges and she fights with a fierce, stubborn aggression and unnerving elegance. Gladia has extremely quick reflexes and good balance. She has quite good hearing.

Gladia's seeming dizzy-blondeness hides an iron will. Just because sometimes she asks stupid questions or forgets why she left her den, that doesn't make her stupid; she has a very good social sense and she is very curious, good at maths, and philosophical. She can act silly sometimes, but when she really cares about something, she is courageous enough. She's a philosopher at heart, and she loves to ask questions and have debates; she has an extremely strong sense of morals and stands by them. She also thinks deeply, and although she'll miss things that everybody else spots, she'll also spot things that everybody else misses.
Gladia is also an adept historian.

Gladia is physically quite weak, and isn't at all strong. She isn't much of a stalker, thanks to the fact she tends to forget where she is, or forget to pounce, or steps on a stone and squeals with pain. She is a poor hunter because of this. She isn't a great fighter most of the time either; too often in training sessions she hits somebody, and then steps back and apologises repeatedly and asks them if they're okay. When she gets mad she fights better, but she makes more silly-blonde mistakes as well, so it's easy for an experienced fighter to be unfazed by the aggression and simply wait to exploit a mistake.

Gladia is indeed a truly dizzy blonde. She forgets people's names, forgets how to hunt, forgets the difference between a mouse and a rabbit, forgets the way from her den to the Timepool. She asks dumb questions, is forgetful and disorganised, and is sometimes found wandering around in circles trying to get at a bit of dirt on her tail.
She's also rather vain; her appearance matters to her. She spends hours grooming herself and looking after her lovely gold-streaked grey fur. She loves flouncing around and flirting.
She's a little bit of a lost little girl; she's scared of the dark, and she wonders what she's going to do with her life and what she's here for. The world scares and confuses her sometimes. She can be far too idealistic and naive.

Gladia is the daughter of Seven Thirteen Aydan and Lawson Karlus Astrynn. They had a small den on the outskirts of Timekeeper den space. Seven's parents didn't like crowds, and they weren't particularly popular either. Seven was witty but sharp-tongued, and Lawson was just grumpy all the time.
Gladia has no siblings; she was the only daughter of Seven and Lawson, and she was brought up by two parents who had very little better to do than spoil their daughter. Her mother had something of a phobia of the Timepool and her father was a blind philosopher who passed down his love for words and wonder at the world onto Gladia.
She was never outstanding at anything much when she was very young, but as soon as she was introduced to the Timepool, she fell in love. She is a good Historian, if somewhat scatterbrained, but mostly her time-travel awakened the philosopher within her, that was further nurtured by her dad.
She was made a Noble only a few months ago, upon the demise of her predecessor when he wandered down a disused tunnel into a badger's sett. It was not so much for her status as a Historian or her experience, both of which are negligible, but for her philosophical nature and her fresh perspective on things. The other Nobles also hoped that she would be young enough not to challenge them for the Tellership. They're wrong; Gladia is nothing if not ambitious, and she intends to be Teller someday if she can.
