Name: Volefur
Nickname/Alias: n/a
Gender: Male
Age: 7
Group: ForeverClan
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Volefur is a grey and brown tabby; a less unusual fur colour it'd be hard to find. He's extremely plain in appearance, and doesn't stand out much. He is of average build for ForeverClan, though bigger and stronger than most non-ForeverClan cats. His eyes are deep brown. He has a few scars dotted around his pelt; nothing overly noticeable, as his fur is long enough to cover most. Perhaps the only unusual thing about him is his fur's length; it is very long and quite fluffy. He holds himself in the kind of way which makes him... well, not stand out at all. He slouches slightly and holds himself with no special grace or care; perhaps even a little clumsily. His voice is deep and level.
Physical Strengths: Like most ForeverClan cats, Volefur is strong, heavy and muscular. He is quite a good hunter and is capable of sitting very still very quietly for extended period of time. There is nothing much that stands out about him; he is a decent fighter due to his strength, but nothing special; reasonably quick for his size - that is to say, quite slow - but nothing worth talking about; he is a good hunter, but not even close to the best in his Clan. Overall, Volefur is the sort of cat you just... don't... notice. Perhaps the one good remark that could be made about him would be his stamina; it is very high.
Physical Weaknesses: Volefur is pretty mediocre as regards most physical pursuits. He's a trained warrior and decently strong, but nothing special, especially for a ForeverClan cat. He is not the best of climbers at all and is very clumsy. This means that he's not particularly stealthy, hence his hunting technique of sitting still for extended periods of time. He's also quite slow, due to being big, and has slow reactions. Finally, he has very poor balance.
Mental Strengths: Volefur is quietly practical, sensible and calm at all times. Whilst he's just as capable of losing his head over some insult to his Clan as any other cat, he's generally calm, tolerant, sensible and logical. He is good with other cats, friendly and reliable. He is generally quite determined, though is very quiet about it. He's also incredibly loyal.
Mental Weaknesses: Volefur is not the brightest cat in the world. He may be practical, but that's less out of a sense of realism and more because he's not smart enough to be out of the box. He isn't particularly resourceful and depends on others to tell him what to do; he doesn't think for himself.
Personality: Volefur is perhaps the most unremarkable cat ever to be born. He is a ForeverClan warrior, and follows most of the ForeverClan norms; he is large and muscular, although not more so than any other ForeverClan cat; his pelt is fluffy but dull; he is not the smartest cat in the history of the universe; he's healthy and well-fed. He has never seen himself as anything special, and whilst this could contribute to low self-esteem, it doesn't. Volefur sees himself, not as a useless warrior, but as a servant of his Clan. He is very happy to work his paws off his whole life and get no credit - he knows he's not the kind of person who gets credit, credit is for the heroes, the bright, the brave, the strong - so long as his Clan is better off for it. His loyalty shapes his entire life and he is very happy about that. So long as he can serve his Clan and obey the warrior code, he is happy.
Apart from loyalty and the warrior code, he also values humour and friendship; though he's no great comedian himself (except when he trips over his own paws; apprentices find that hilarious), he admires those who can tell jokes, and he's generally every cat's best friend, liked if not respected. He's calm and reliable and he won't drag you into trouble; he wouldn't know how.
History: Volefur was born into ForeverClan. He had a pretty happy childhood; he was the son of two respected ForeverClan warriors (both of whom are now dead), Mudface and Ashclaw. He had two siblings, Fogkit and Redkit. The three kits were made apprentices on their sixth moon; Volefur, unusually, was apprenticed to his own father, Mudface. However, there was no chance Mudface would go easy on him. Mudface had always been a perfectionist and everybody knew he expected a lot of his son. Mudface taught Volefur to value loyalty, friendship and the warrior code above all else. Volefur grew up in a relatively peaceful time; his first battle was when he was nearly nine moons old, when he chased a fox from ForeverClan territory, with help from Mudface, his siblings and their mentors. Mudface died of greencough when Volefur was nearing his twelfth moon. At the time there was a little bit of an epidemic and a few warriors were left hunting for the Clan whilst the others were ill. Volefur was among them and after the epidemic ended he was made a warrior, along with his siblings, for his efforts, rather than pick another mentor for him. Over the years, Ashclaw and his siblings' mentors have both died. There were sad times for Volefur, but he survived and put his loyalty first. Today Volefur is seen as a reliable ForeverClan warrior, eternally hovering somewhere between junior warrior and senior warrior, whose loyalty could be a credit to his Clan if only he wasn't quite so... unremarkable.
