When two cats wish to have kits, they should make a thread in this board, and on that thread, each fill out the following forms:
The staff will then respond with the following form:
Number of kits born: ____
Complications: Anything along the lines of stillborn pups, difficulties with birth, suchlike. If such things are mentioned here, you must put them in the birthing thread.
Birth Dates: Date -- Date. You must start the birthing thread between these two dates, or the kits will be so early-born / late-born that they all die.
Gender: Kit's gender
Physical: A short summary of the kit's appearance, build, etc.
Personality: The inborn traits of the kit's personality. (These can be changed by upbringing if the upbringing is very strongly biased towards a particular trait- kits brought up in NeverClan will generally become ruthless, whether or not they were born that way.)
Talents: Their inborn talents and knacks. While they can learn other skills and if they never receive any teaching, their potential talents can remain undiscovered and unused, these are the basic talents and knacks that they're born with.
(Repeat for 'Kit 2', 'Kit 3' etc, if applicable)
When staff have posted the stats, you may give out the kits to potential RPers using the Adoptions boards, and the RPers may make their profiles. The profiles should be made along the lines of the stats given by staff, although the kits can be developed as characters.
All of this should preferably all be done before the kits are born. Kits will normally have their birth dates set a month or so after the request is put in, unless the kits are planned to have a very early or late birth because of complications, and from the moment staff reply with the stats until when the kits are born, your she-cat is pregnant.
Please, everybody, remember that all mating and birthing threads must be tasteful, contain no explicit content, and fade to black when necessary.
MOTHER / FATHER (delete as appropriate)
Character: Character's Name[/url
Health: Are they healthy, injured, ill, weak, well-fed, hungry....
Basic Grandparent Info: If you want us to get more into genetics, you can post quick descriptions of the cat's parents (the kits' grandparents), so that rather than just taking the kits' genes from the parents, we can include attributes in the kits which are from the grandparents.
Mating Thread: Link to the thread where your cats mated, so we can check it's tasteful and PG-13, and fades to black.
The staff will then respond with the following form:
